ADMaiora, a company with thirty years of experience in the field of educational services of museums, parks and exhibitions of a scientific and historical-artistic nature, supports the staff of the LE ROGGE Quarry by offering experimental workshops capable of examining in depth some specific themes complementary to the experience of visiting the interior of the quarry.

GEOLOGY WORKSHOP FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL

Through the guided observation of some samples of minerals and rocks you learn to recognize the salient characteristics of igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks and understand their genesis. Thanks to identification cards and keys, the geologist's work is experienced and the properties of the geological samples available are discovered.

CREATIVE ARTISTIC WORKSHOP FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL

The rocks that the mountain returns are different: the colour, veins and reflections of the marble have inspired many artists and sculptors over the centuries who have created mosaics, statues and immense cathedrals with this precious material. We try to use blocks and fragments from the quarry to create simple architectural models and creative mosaics.

ON THE MARBLE ROAD GAME WORKSHOP FROM 4 YEARS OLD AND PRIMARY SCHOOLS

An educational game involves children in an adventure featuring the blocks of pink marble that once descended from the mountain to the valley to reach the city. With fun tests of skill and motor skills, quizzes and dice rolls we will ideally follow the road that marble followed in the past, discovering the history and geography of the area: will we be able to get all the blocks to their destination?
